33% marks to pass
To pass the UP Board exam, the students must get at least 33% marks in each subject. If a student gets fewer marks than this in one or two subjects, then he will get a chance to take a compartment exam. If, after the result, any student is not satisfied with his result, then he can get his copy rechecked or can participate in the improvement exam to improve his result.
